This podcast is AMAZING! I started listening to it a while ago, then somehow I forgot about it. I just found it again and I started listening to it at like eight pm. It was wayyyy too good to stop, so I listened to it until about ten! TWO WHOLE HOURS! I also looooveee the space-y, science-y music! I have not gotten the book(s) yet, but I’m DYING to! It’s absolutely hilarious, and it has a great plot and story as well! Whenever I listen to the GZM show intro thing, it gives me chills (in a good way). Also, the queer representation makes me so happy (as a queer kid myself). One more thing: I usually need to have the transcript thing open when I listen to podcasts, so I can read along when it’s hard to understand, but this kids speak so clearly that I don’t need that at all! They don’t mumble or mix up their words, like how kids usually talk. They talk clearer than some of my friends at theater, and we practice enunciation and articulation a lot! Rant about stuff ig so if you have answers just write a review back please cuz it's cold out. Also to clarify to those yelling at me I did not mean Caddie was a brat, I meant she described Aurora sometimes like she was super selfish and bratty. (Such as saying Aurora only cares about herself and that she doesnt have feelings). Caddie is obviously a very selfless person. Sry 4 the mix up💿 1. Ppl are saying that they're like excited for season 4? Is it like confirmed or..... 2. Normalize Aurora glaze. Aurora is such a well written character and Mareid O'Neil did such an incredible job voicing her. I don't see what the hate is about. Like idk how it's hard to see things from her point of view. Like especially in that one part where she says "I thought I was special too" OMG GZM YOUVE OUTDONE YOURSELF. Like imagine getting taken from your home and used as bait to get your best friend somewhere while being under the impression that you were there so YOU could do something. And when she and a bunch of other kids just want to go home they're labeled as horrible monsters. And when she finally gets home her parents who have been atleast emotionally absent are gone, all Mars says is "find the adults find the adults". And I truly get it so much more then when I was little. And honestly? Idc what people say, kids could run the world. Also Mars actually what because he went from like daydreaming about Aurora for like 11 consecutive years and then drooling over Caddie. Like hello? I hated how Caddie acted like Aurora was a mean brat or whatever. She was like "you should talk about being grateful" LIKE OBVIOUSLY SHE IS PLEASE USE YOUR EYES. I'm so sad she didn't get to be president and I thought her and Axel should have met again in season 3. She deserved more "screen" time or pod time? Any who I feel so bad for Aurora dude. Normalize Aurora being a favorite 3. WHAT WAS THE DEAL WITH ORION AND AURORA? Like they have that ex vibe but like he's 15 and she's around 12-13 which atleast from a teenagers perspective is a little ehh. But I'm actually so curious. 4. Ikeep seeing old videos from 2020 of like a Mars Patel skit or whatever about a science fair? Anyway if someone could find it that would be so awesome 5. These comments lowkey PMO with all due respect. Like this isn't a platform for you to do spot the difference, or complain about paywalls or how much better six minutes is. Just review the show. It's not that hard. We're here in the big '26 and Facebook moms are reviewing better. And for the record, STOP COMPLAINING "eww they changed the voices" like obviously there's this really common thing called puberty? They wanted to keep the actors because they probably knew they were going to get even more negitive reception if they changed the voice actors. People change. Grow up. 6. Here's my thoughts on the books. I thought they were pretty good. Offering specific POVS was a nice touch. The ending of book three. If you don't know in the podcast end, the adults are brought back and they all decide to work together to rebuild earth. In the book, when they go through the Martian space needle portal, they end up back in a simulation at the beginning or the story where everything is perfect but weird and it's a year back and only some people remember and they're like "no we can change the past" like why were you freaked out the first time and not now? That's honestly not something l'd want to disappear. The spelling of names could use some work TBH. In the scripts it's "Randall (Toothpick) Reid" but they changed it to Lee? Okay lil bro. And then it went from "Aurora Gershowitz" to "Gershewitz"? Mhm. Over all they were pretty good. Kudos to Sheela Chari. THE ACTUAL REVIEW This is a masterpiece. Straight up. I don't know why more people don't discuss it. It's so good I could go on for hours. I've been listening since I was nine and I'm 14.
