Emotional Support Group

Mgcboxing6/5/2026

This pod is like Alcoholics Anonymous for spurs fans. A very needed support group without which I would be totally lost in the sea of spurs chaos. It runs the gamut of seasoned considered takes to the purely emotional. It has become essential in my life.

Nice work Kate!

Danny has massive shoes to fill. I think Kate has come in and immediately endeared me to her. The podcast needs someone with some emotion and opinions to counter the more balanced athletic reporters. Really pleased with her on the show

still by far the best Spurs pod

In this gloomiest of seasons VFTL continues to be the smartest, funniest and most objective Spurs pod. There have been many times this season when I don’t want to look at the back page or hear another ‘expert’ opinion on where our club has been misled, but I’d never miss VTFL because they complete understand what it is to be a Spurs fan. Danny’s ability to connect with the soul of the club and the importance of being a fan will be missed until he returns but Kate Mason has done a great job in his place. She’s naturally funny and has the combination of Spurs gallows humor and ill-founded optimism that many of us suffer from. Only criticism is a general feeling that the Athletic journos will never really tell you what’s going on for fear of losing access - but that’s in common to most clubs and sports they cover. Keep up the good work and COYS!

Gotten pretty full of themselves

I miss Danny Kelly. He at least is a fan who spoke with passion. His replacement and the others are clearly just writers only concerned with sounding smart.

Top podcast for Spurs
