Now I understand

So after listening to several years’ worth of this podcast, I finally understand the title of the show. It’s not about a superstitious number; it’s the target demographic. There have been a few stories over 3 years of listening that I enjoyed and didn’t see the monster coming. And frankly I could listen in bliss to Bridget Freeman (nee Howard) reading the Sears catalog. The erotica infused into the previous and current season smacks of desperation that I can live without. So I’ve moved out of the holler looking for greener pastures.

Tried

Tried for over a year. The stories are good. The narration is difficult. I can’t quite place what it is. Monotone? Forced accent? Slow speech.

Just found this

I just found this podcast and I’m glad I did. This podcast allows me to escape reality and picture in my head the details of the stories they tell very well done.

No mid roll ads

I love this podcast for its storytelling and the little talks at the end of the segment. I struggle normally listening to podcasts, but this one keeps me focused. I also love that the ads are in the beginning. Keep up the great work mates!

Meh

Pausing after every sentence does not make the narrative more powerful, creepy, or meaningful. It just makes it longer.
