My favorite music podcast. Great guests and Tyler’s conversations with them often uncover unexpected gems and new cultural threads to pull.

Jason P Woodbury, the host, is an absolute treasure. It’s a well-honed talent he has, to gently guide conversations with such a wide range of personalities, never failing to get something unique from every interview subject. He is never less than fully prepared, with a deep knowledge of every guest. You can hear that they appreciate this and open up in ways you don’t often hear in other settings.

Then this podcast is for you. Even when I don’t know who the artist is (or particularly like their music), it’s always an interesting conversation. As a non-creative, the creative process is fascinating to me and this podcast includes great insights into how musicians think and work.

Jason is a superb interviewer with a singular ear, voice, and heart. When he’s not bringing new artists into my consciousness that I didn’t even know I needed, he’s re-introducing me to longtime favorites in completely novel ways.
