Two Crime Besties

I wanted to like this podcast. They sound pleasant, they sound interesting, but why am i listening for over 12 minutes about your kids dressing up like bananas? I get some banter back and forth, I get you are besties and you might take it further but I just gave up.

Stumbled upon this when trying to learn more about Colleen Slemmer and instantly hooked. Not sensational, lays out timeline in a no nonsense way and their obvious friendship and earnestness regarding the victims is such a nice breath of fresh air. Hooked.

So, i was enjoying the long episodes & fun banter (esp with your Aussie accents, which i could listen to all day 😂), but after listening to the Karen Reid episode i was really disappointed with how many facts you had wrong. I don’t mean your interpretation or opinions, you’re welcome to those ; I mean saying John had shards of taillight in his jacket (?!?)- that is absolutely untrue. I can see how you could be confused after the theatrics of the prosecution in the second trial, but seriously, that’s an incredibly important issue. Listen to The 13th Juror’s Conspiracy in Canton… then tell me, do you really think it’s far fetched that these incompetent, good old boy cops tried to frame a woman (whom they joked about as a c*nt, & worse on their cop buddy group texts)? Anyway, thanks for your podcast- just be careful with the fact checking 🙏

Riveted by the in depth look back at the Christa Pike case to help me understand how she got where she is now.

My first listen was the crista pike episode and omg!! They do such a great job! Now to go back and listen from episode 1!
