AMAZING INSIGHTS IN EVERY EPISODE

Ruth_Ruth6/3/2026

I spent my early adulthood in therapy identifying as an anxious, insecure person. That all changed when I encountered Kara’s teachings. I’ve been in her Feminist Self Help Society for four years, and am currently in her Socratic Coaching Method Certification program. Her tools have enabled me to transform my life. AND I still listen to this podcast regularly because she continues delivering amazing insights to the public with every episode. What a gift! Thank you, Kara.

Love this podcast

First it’s fun to say the name of this podcast. The biggest thing I’ve learned from Kara is the concept of being emotionally neutral and the need to work through your feelings until you are neutral BEFORE confronting or responding to someone when you’re upset. This has made a significant difference in my life! ❤️❤️

Taking back my brain

Cellara754/30/2026

Kara has helped me take back my brain like no other self help work has. I now can see clearer how our sexist society has molded me to see my body as defective and my migraines as a further failure. My dependence on doctors and pills fks up my brain and gives my power away again. She is very inspiring.

Motivation and reason

Kara is always just what I need when my brain is working against me! I recently started a fractional leadership business and wrestle with self doubt. Kara has taught me how to recognize these are thoughts and how to work past them. Love how she balances science and experience. Kara brings big-sister energy to this big sister.

Finally: the Emotional Tool-Kit I’ve been Longing for

MemeOM542694/23/2026

I’ve been binging this podcast for a couple of weeks and I am FLOORED by the efficacy of Kara’s actionable insights. For years I have been pounding away at my personal goals — following standard self-help advice to act in accordance with my values and hoping that the rest would fall into place. But despite my efforts I continued to feel TERRIBLE emotionally because even though I could bully myself into action, I still allow(ed) negative thoughts to live in my brain and wreak havoc on my nervous system. (On the outside I tried to pretend everything was ok—you know, like you do 👎). I worked myself into a pattern of believing that I just had to live with the fear and anxiety that accompanied “real life.” What a relief to learn a process of thought-coaching that lets me do my work without drama and insecurity always coloring how I perceive my efforts!! Thank you, Kara! Also—have your male partners, brothers, friends and fathers listen too—this feminism is for everyone!! May we all live empowered lives of active conscious awareness! 💜
