Freddie’s feathers are constantly ruffled but he never makes an argument or articulates a a thought out position. It’s all “a lot of people might say.” I think it’s because his only recommitment is to stirring up dissent no matter how inconsistent or frankly dumb and then mindlessly hedging between that “dissent” and “consensus.” Lots of echo and zero light.

Cranks and lies

Unherd has devolved into a platform for conspiracy theorists and cranks whose singular obsession with the supposed evils of Israel is vile anti-semitism. Why not interview an Iranian dissident, or a Venezuelan or a serious credible thinker from Israel? Instead you give hot air time to liars and propagandists such as the entirely irrelevant Joe Kent who disgustingly blames his wife’s death in syria fighting for America on- who else? Of course. What a sicko. And shame on Unherd for its intellectual and moral failures. This is not free thinking. This is sick brain rot.

Love it

Great show. Professor Robert Pape's take on the Iran war is unbelievably inaccurate

Moderately right

I have to say as a moderately left person (a New England type so fairly if quietly conservative) I don’t agree with a lot in this show. Some of the quests are in fact nuts. But there is a moderation to the host himself that keeps me listening. Plus I’m just curious about other POVs. And I was educated via and very much value the western canon.
