Venture Forth: A D&D Podcast

When I first found the podcast, I was in a very picky mood. I needed a DnD actual play podcast that hit juuust the right spot. It had to be fun without its whole premise being about jokes but serious without being too grim or bogged down. Deep, but jaunty. Light but thoughtful. This podcast fits my picky tastes to a tee!

So, Venture Forth is the best D&D podcast ever conceived by mankind. The characters have that touch of humanity that I just love seeing in my media. The acting from the players and DM at all times keeps you at the edge of your seat, rooting for the heroes of the story at every turn, even with their many flaws. Venture Forth is the perfect mix of standard D&D (5th edition) and homebrew, keeping combat snappy and entertaining, even during the longer battles. I learned how to play 5th edition from these guys who have an awesome community to bond with and awesome creators who do awesome things. Every piece of music is made by one of the creators which boggles my mind on how much they commit to this and their fans. 1,000,000/10. Would recommend to anyone who knows about D&D or not.
