Love the show, but waiting to get past game of wool episodes
(Edit 2 months later) Still excited to get that show I was hoping for and that they advertised on social media as being a place to learn about craft and yarn! Looks like it is getting there now and I love the banter and interesting ideas and background both hosts share! —————————- (Original review) As a poor American who cannot get the game of wool episodes (yet), I really wish they would put out an episode not focused on game of wool so I don’t have to skip it! I don’t want spoilers and who knows when I’ll get the chance to watch the show. Looking forward to more content that focuses on some fiber info other than game of wool!!
A bright spot in my week
I’m in the US and have listened since week one. Love the discussions (even about the tv show I couldn’t even watch). As a knitter who has a slight obsession with really beautiful yarn, finding this podcast was like finding my people.
Love this Pod!
I absolutely love this podcast! I love listening to you both talk about learning, your origin stories of learning to knit and how you’re teaching the next generation to knit and preserving this craft. As an art educator who is teaching children and other educators how to knit and other art/crafts in my job, I love learning about the different methods and context to learning. I only wish these episodes were longer because I could listen to you both all day long.
Will they have anything to say now?
This podcast is super focused on a tv show I can’t watch. But even if I could, I don’t want a podcast to rehash it. I will wait and see if this will be a fun podcast about knitting once the show is over. The hosts do have a fun rapport.
The deep dive for crafters
I was on the fence during the first episode but I kept listening and I am so glad I did! I don’t get to watch Game of Wool in the US but I enjoy Adam and Georgia’s animated discussions about the show and about a wide range of issues impacting crafters and creatives. Looking forward to subsequent episodes!
