Love this

I’m an 80-year old jazz fan. I heard Miles at a night club in Denver in ca. 1972 and Keith Jarrett in a concert at CU Boulder in the fall of 1972. I love listening to young critics and experienced experts talk about the musicians while playing the tracks they recorded. Thank you.

Thanks for creating and continuing such an amazing and entertaining podcast. Some of the music language goes over my head, but the energy and fun that you guys bring to discovering music is contagious. I’ve been taking deeper dives into your reviews and enjoying the journey. Please keep these podcasts coming!

I recently stumbled across this podcast while looking for information about Prince. Discovered pods on many of my favorites like steely Dan, tower of power, Stevie etc. I have learned so much in every episode I’ve listened to. Thank you so much! EWF Faces please

Rick Beato + You’ll Hear It

I put this podcast right next to Rick Beato’s YouTube channel. Awesome production and great insights into the music. I’ve discovered countless new pieces of music through these two channels.

Doing the Lord’s Work

This podcast is a godsend not only for aspiring jazz musicians, but for anyone who loves passionate conversations about music that sweats (and cherishes) the details. Peter and Adam are top picks for my fantasy album listening party. Would love to hear their perspectives on more albums on the rock end of the spectrum (I think their takes would be fascinating), but I have no complaints or quibble bits. Thanks for all you do, guys.
